Looks
Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG - Is it or not just a family saloon? I have to admit, it's much more than that and it's always ready to give you a lot of fun! The performance is impressive. AMG details make it look very aggressive, 20-inch multi-spoke AMG wheels and the designo color "Selenite Gray Magno" (matte) can leave you speechless, especially at night.
Interior
The interior of the E43 AMG is pure elegance, with some AMG touches here and there - and surprisingly it's very comfortable when you drive it. The 12,3-inch infotainment has a great resolution and screen quality, it's rich in options and user-friendly. Using it while driving is effortless. It also has many options such as Ambient lightning color configuration, connection to your phone via Apple CarPlay and wireless charging - lovely! One downside are the back seats, there is not much space for legs, so tall people can struggle on longer journeys! But overall, a very good and positive impression.
Driving
While driving the E43 AMG I immediately felt the twin turbo v6 engine under the hood. In combination with a nine-speed automatic transmission it's performing very aggressively and precisely, and it puts a smile on your face every time you hit a gas pedal. On the other hand, if you drive it in comfort, it's basically as luxurious and comfortable as a regular E class. Bonus points go to the exhaust sound, it's sounds amazing - AMG nails it everytime. Since the roads where wet and grimy, I've also put to the test the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, and the control and precision on the steering wheel were impeccable.
Verdict
The E43 AMG is definitely not the car for everyone's like, but with this fantastic interior, and great performance it's impossible to dislike it.
